Sorry I didn't reply sooner!! Just saw your question now.

My group is now meeting on Monday evenings at 7pm in the Clintonville area. The group is currently listed on MaleSurvivor under Ohio and also at the SIA website www.siawso.org

SIA defines "incest" broadly to include perps other than family members - e.g. family friend, neighbor, coach, minister. Basically anyone in a position to take advantage of the child.

Our first meeting was last Monday and we will be meeting again this Monday 10/24/11 at Maple Grove UMC - 7 West Henderson (corner of Henderson & High Street). Meetings will be alternating between SIA 12-Step materials and materials from both MaleSurvivor and 1in6.org

Hello Kreecher - glad to hear that you are getting a meeting started in Ohio. I am in the Cleveland area, so will not likely make it down to your meeting. Do you know of any people in the northeast Ohio area who might be interested in starting a group?
