I woke up this morning with the music of Mahler going through my mind. I listened to Mahler's 1st symphony on the way home from rehearsal last night and was completely captivated.

Mahler made such wonderful use of horns (my instrument). I just love Mahler's music.

Hey Guys,

I played this performance today. It went well. I had some performance anxiety. I was warmly applauded and many from the audience chatted with me afterward, affirming a successful performance.

I enjoyed doing it. It took a huge amount of physical and emotional energy. Now I'm looking forward to next year's performance and what to play at that time. The Hunter's Moon piece received the most accolades. The piece is not well represented by the youtube recording.

Sorry I couldn't record it. I had enough to think about without trying to record it. Perhaps if anybody still wants a recording, I could record it separately without an audience.
