this bill, if passed will abolish the statue of limitation on a person that wants to pursue a case of child abuse regardless of the time that has passes since the abuse and will hold churches, boy scouts and other groups more accountable.

How is this different from the charitable immunities law that Mark Crawfore (former MS board member) got thru the NJ legislature a few years ago?

Is it a legal enactment of the NJ Supreme Court decision last year in the matter of RL v Kenneth Voytak?

That would be huge on a national scale but it would be only federal cases since congress can't touch state statutes of limitations.

Maybe not directly, but they can apply a great deal of pressure on states to comply by withholding various types of funding. That's why you have to be 21 to drink anywhere in the US. If the federal government wants to force the states to get rid of statutes of limitations, they will.
