I can't remember the last time I got a come-on. It would be nice to feel that attractive. Maybe we should have a seasonal Survivor Fitness Challenge where we all focus on our health and getting fit?

It's tough to lose weight especially if you are an emotional eater like myself. I am sure I put up this physical wall with the weight and that's tough to overcome...

This topic is a very important one and its good we are all talking about it...

I LOVE This post actually. It might NOT seem like it at first.

I did feel "challenged" which is good. Apart of the "affects" of the abuse was being "frozen". I am thawing out now at at times I need to have a hair dryer (lol) to help with the process.

This topic is very difficult because my body was violated in the past and I dissociated with my body.

Anyways, happy for this topic.

EFM, (big sigh).

Body image is a big deal for me. I was an opera singer / actor for twenty years before moving into the business world. I was always comfortable being attractive on stage, but off stage I was always "hiding". I have recently lost fifty pounds and have started working with a trainer at the gym. The results are causing me anxiety as I see muscular definition. I am so confused why a strong, masculine body would be hard to own.
