No Effort to inform victims!
Quote from bottom of page two;
"About 100 defendants charged with sex crimes, many of them indecent exposure, had their cases dropped. Some faced more serious sexual charges, including those involving attacks on children."

Amazing. When will the justice system in this country learn, you can jail one perp now or a hundred victims later.

This is why child molesters are in such danger in prisons, they are full of their victims. And how many times is justice swift and stern when a victim kills their perp after ignoring reports of the perps crimes.

If you go to the paper today the DA has had time to think and says he'll reopen some of the more serious cases. At least one victim has changed her mind and doesn't want to testify since that article was published. She says she doesn't want to stir up memories I suspect its the fear of not knowing when the DA will just drop her case again that had the bigger part. Not being able to trust the DA's office would have been my reaction.

Call the FBI and file a complaint with the Feds if your case involves any aspect that falls under feral statutes. Please do not let these lame duck states fail once again in their responsibility to protect their TAX paying citizens! As one of those former inmates who was unable to face his perp in prison and also watch as the state protected them; I for one am appalled at this information. Also yes the prisons are full of their victims who only get further victimized in life inside and out. Is this not a conspiracy to facilitate further felonies. If I understand the conspiracy laws correctly ANYONE who acts in concert to the furtherance of a felony can be prosecuted for that felony. MMMM just food for thought.

Yea but when they get a judge to approve it then its not conspiracy and besides most Gov employees in that level of position have immunity from being sued though they do have to obey the law as they are not immune from prosecution if they break it.

Well it is still a matter of accountability and this country needs to look hard at over site with our government and its polices and practices. When all Americans get away from the TV and hold our elected officials accountable then change can occur and we can then take our country back. But I am just grandstanding I just wanted to give thought to the fact that there are remedies available and if we victims become the squeaky wheel maybe change can occur. And even a judges decisions are open for review by a higher court, I can think of several judges who have been indicted for criminal acts as well as many politicians.

Well if you think thats negative then no I don't think you are raging. I meant it to be supportive and understanding of the need that drives us down paths where we advocate for sense and justice that is unlikely to come.

It takes one voice to get things going. Maybe that is you.
