I will be honest, I'm not too crazy about the "hero4him" name. I don't feel comfortable labeling myself as a hero.

Good luck with the site. I can see the need to have a place to let 'er rip without the worry of offending a survivor here.

I am also glad you ladies will still be here. You have a very special place here. You remind me that people really do care and that there are more victims of sexual abuse than the primary ones.

Yeah, sorry about the cheesy name for the discussion board. I wasn't in love with it either but in order to register, I had to have a name ready so I had to think of something quickly. I wanted it to be short and to the point, catchy but also somewhat informative. I was going to make it cooler but all the Tori Amos lyrics were taken, LOL.

Haha. I wonder if it would be possible to get some sort of grant for a website so that we could have some of the nice "tools" like the chatroom. I might ask around at some of the local universities and see if there are even some grad psychology (or even social work) students who might be willing to help.

I like the fact that you ladies are here, too.

Without you it would probably be just constant bathroom humor and fart jokes. thanks for helping us keep it civil, lol.

i will tell my wife about your forum.
