This is just about eliminating the statute of limitations that says survivors must file a civil suit by the time they are 48 years old. There is no move to eliminate any law against sexual abuse that I can see.

The statute of limitations is the child sex abuse law in question. It's a poor choice of words, intentionally so. Thats a provocation to read the story. It was called pandering in the old days before reagan, when we had a civilization.

As Mark Twain once quipped, history may not repeat itself, but it does rhyme.
