Leosha, you speak the truth as you see it, and I respect that. We should never be afraid of that. And this 'truth' is something I believe in as well. There are some people I just choose not to see the good in, because the bad outweighs it. That is my choice, and I am quite at peace with it.

Oh, and before I forget. Do you know what triggered me to action? It was my older son entering the 7th grade. That's when it was the worst for me. I took one look at how innocent he was at that age and all I saw was what had been taken from me and I was enraged. Zipser, I haven't got any kids of my own so I'll never feel that rage, but I understand all the same. It's good to know that your kids have you as a father. Dave

I got an email from a survivor friend today, and this is some of what he wrote me - Who out there would cast aspersions at you or me? We're still here. Still alive and breathing after all these years. Damn them to hell who'd say we're not magnificent warriors in our own right. That I can lace my shoes and use toilet paper,that's something. We all should be dead. Indeed,we did die. And came back royally pissed off.
If we look at ourselves, really look hard, then we will see exactly what we have achieved. Shoelaces and toilet paper are two simple things that we take for granted, have a look and see what YOU have actually achieved. Dave

I wrote it myself in reply to Sinking under Bhuddism Anyone? in Spirituality. I probably would have forgotten about, until FTGF said it made a good weekly quote. Now, I think about it everyday. Sorry to toot my own horn, but how often am I going to say somthing profound.
