I'm scared with you.

Alexei, your body is adjusting to some strong medicine you are taking just now. I am sure it will straighten out soon or your doc will change them.
When you get back here you will read of the love we have for you, and of how important you are to all of us.
Alexei, you have suffered terrible trauma in your life--it would be frightening if you were NOT afraid.
Keep close to your friends. I think you need to let your friends now as soon as you get a fever over 100 degrees. Don't let it continue or get worse. Go for help ASAP.
We all have set backs like this Alexei, but slowly they will have less power over us and they will be less severe. Always remember, you are surounded by people who really love you and care for you.

Can your friends spend some time (taking turns) at the hospital just sitting with you so you are not alone? It is natural to be scared. No one expects you not to be so be kind to yourself and allow yourself to feel afraid. It's really okay. Take good care of yourself. Everyone here loves you as do your friends.

you do not have to be not scared. I get scared every day. Life has so much to it, and we have to add the disruption of our feeling safe in time and space having been ripped away from us!
