This looks like a funny movie and I crack up when I see the trailer.


I would also like to see "Where the Wild Things Are"
it looks like a fun movie that could make one feel very comforted.
I loved this book when I was a kid and I remember going to see a play about it but during the play I remember being vividly scared of the adult actors and the loud music, kinda strange.

Monsters vs Aliens - very funny and watchable...strong recommendation to see it.

Wild Things - It is less joyous than you would think from the commercials...It is geared more towards adults, but is laden awith adolescent confusion and feelings...it felt very morose and down to me....I had a hard time with it...nothing comforting about it. All of the characters seem to embody various archetypes of children (the insecure one, the quiet one, the angry one)...I wasn't in a place to see it...

"Where the Wild Things Are" wasn't around when I was a kid....but I've seen the trailer and I know the film would've scared me as a kid. I kinda find it unsettling now as an adult.
