I am looking for a Mens survivors Group in NYC.
It could either be a therapeutic group or just a support group.
I really think this would be extremely beneficial for me at the stage that I am in, in my recovery.
I have Been To a WOR, and that was extremely helpful, but would like to continue to meet with survivors for the sense of strength and hope and validation that being around them brings for me

Check with Jim Stuve at Male Survivor. One of the therapist at the Alta Weekend has a group going in NYC, because I discussed it with him. But I don't have the specifics, and I know Jim is gathering information about groups nation-wide

I attend a MS group in Easton Pa twice a month. We all have attended a WoR at some point, and we're open to the idea of new members. All of us travel at least and hour and a half to meet up. Right now there are six of us.

I was thinking about possibly starting our own Group!?!
It sounds like it may be difficult to get organized but if a lot of people were interested, than maybe it would be worth the effort.
I was wondering if anybody would be interested in joining such a group.
Is anyone interested in the idea???
