I'm trying to go to college in the US. I'll be leaving everyone. I'm going to leave all the familiar faces i see and start a new life. I've been thinking about this for years. I thought nothing would change, nothing every does things just keeps getting worse and worse. I thought I could leave all this shit and escape. but now so much has change. My sibling (except my little brother) and I bonded.

Everything is slowly changing for the better and I'm ganna leave that?... To be honest when I think about it really, thing are getting worse for me but its getting better for my family... make sense?.... I think I want to see my family become better? but if i stay here things for me are going to become worse...

sorry it doesn't really make much sense....

Marvin,

I don't wanna say only think about yourself in life, but...ONLY THINK ABOUT YOURSELF on this one!!!!! Go and do what's gonna make you happy...period!

sa tingin lamang tungkol sa iyong sarili

the fact u worry about ur family shows the good person you are. i'm afraid that good person changes into a bitter emotional closed old man if you stay. You know u have to look after yourself first Marv, n u can always go back u dont have to lose touch with your folks forever u can stay close after u're done with college but it wont be like u r living with them.

it's just about time Marv, i kinda think if you do it for yourself, u do it for ur family as well

Better get out of there before another hurricane hits!!! We don't have any hurricanes here in Colorado, but it just snowed 2 feet at my house last week too. We are 1000 miles from the ocean though. Maybe try the University of Colorado if you have enough money or a scholarship!!! We have some good support groups around Denver and Boulder too. Metro State College here is a good school for those on a budget.
