its called "12 and holding." I saw it on youtube and if anyone wants I will post the link. It was a little bit triggering and I did not like the way that it ends but I guess, such is Life, right?

I saw this movie on a Netflix dvd about a year ago. Maybe I was depressed at the time or something, but I only gave it 3 stars.

Here is the review from Netflix:
When 12-year-old Rudy Carges (Conor Donovan) dies in a tree-house fire set by bullies, his death affects a circle of young lives. While Rudy's twin brother, Jacob (also played by Donovan), focuses his wrath on revenge, Malee (Zoe Weizenbaum) finds comfort in one of her psychotherapist mother's clients. Meanwhile, Leonard (Jesse Camacho), an overweight boy who escaped the blaze, begins a weight-loss regimen -- much to the dismay of his fat family.

Here are some outside reviews:

Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times
Twelve and Holding could have been a series of horror stories, but the filmmakers and their gifted young actors somehow negotiate the horrors and generate a deep sympathy. ... Read More

Ruthe Stein, San Francisco Chronicle
Raw and unpredictable. It's also compelling. ... Read More

Thank you Allen,

I've got it bookmarked and I'll give it a go when I get the chance.

Here's one similar to 12-and-holding.

It's called:
How to Eat Fried Worms. I found it funny (maybe you know I like funny things). I gave it 5 stars in Netflix. Don't let the title turn you off.

Here is the review from Netflix:

This charming family film based on Thomas Rockwell's popular book recounts the tale of Billy (Luke Benward), a fifth-grader whose bluster on the first day at a new school gets him in dutch with a bully (Adam Hicks). To save face in front of his classmates, Billy accepts a dare to eat 10 earthworms in one day. But it will take all his inner strength to meet the challenge -- and to keep his big bazoo from landing him in even more trouble.

I really liked 12 and Holding. In fact, I did like the way it eneded when the kid shot boy who killed his brother.
