when I was a kid we used to play war games in the wintertime involving shooting each other with bb guns. We also used to ski doo, which involved me plowing head first into a tree one time. We also used to hunt for pigeons under an underpass using a section of TV antenna for a ladder, and once ran home with it sticking straight up into the atmosphere during a lightning storm. Let's just say that I'm happy to still be here to remember:)

I found this old thread and I thought it would chear me up
As a Grandfather. I have discovered that the best thing in the world to help me when I am down Is to see my Grandchildren smile and laugh. There is something about a happy child that helps my soul.

OKIE MIKE,
I'm with you on that grandfather page.
when i was with them they were my only source of serenity and joy.
But sadly i had to leave them, back in Germany. And I miss them dearly.

662. NEVER try to cross a river while going hand over hand hanging from a water pipe which in turn is hanging suspended beneath a highway bridge!
663. Blackberry thickets are injurious to a boy's body when fallen into whilst attempting to cross a river hand over hand... water pipe... bridge...!

664. Hiding a pair of soiled underwear behind your dresser for weeks and then blaming it on your brother when your mother discovers it works and can be very funny, especially when she wraps the underwear up as a present and gives it to him and he is in such shock when he opens up the present that he actually believes that they were his.

666. Nothing actually happens just because the number "666" is coincidentally associated with something. Also, playing records backwards reveals nothing but an earache...

I found out how ticked off my sister can get after I got ahold of some fireworks & effectively "eliminate" her Ken & Barbie dolls!

you can not fly no matter how hard you try
falling off a roof hurts
straw brooms do not put out fires
cooking wine feels like fire when you drink it
xrays pick up swallowed bb's you never told anyone you swallowed
big dragonflies BITE
cats do not like roach clips with feathers clipped on their tails
sugar in the gas tank does not make the car hyper and drive faster
booby traps have nothing to do with laying moms bras in the yard to catch rabbits
stealing apple pie from a window makes old women cranky
easy bake ovens will cook bugs
cooked bugs dont taste like chicken
closing your eyes dose not make you invisible
garlic cloves are hotter then pepper when bitten
preachers dont understand why you want holy water for vampires
kissing frogs or toads does not turn them into a human who will be your best friend
zippers need to be zipped carefully
