well i knew it had to be sugar ray or cassius, and i also knew sugar ray was older.....so i surmised it was cassius. therefore i did not count it as one i knew for sure without a lot of inductive thinking.

i could have reported i only missed one......but that seemed too perfect.

LOL

i am a slave to image.....yes, and i am working on it..... and working on it, and working on it......and

I got 18 right, and missed #6 and #11. I'll be 52 in less than a month. What number was the PT Boat in McHale's Navy and who was the original star??? Remember the Time Tunnel or the Green Hornet? Mission Impossible or Rat Patrol? What show was Vic Morrow in???

I could go on & on.

Holy Catfish, Batman, I got them all. In fact, I remember when Wonder Bread built strong bodies 8 ways. Guess this makes me out to be the old geezer.

Here's an extra credit question....

"use _______ Cream Oil, Charlie"

Not Brylcreme (a little dab'l do ya)

This one is tough. I recall the ads only as a pretty young kid in the early-mid 50s.

re Harold Lloyd. Is that a trick question? Thought he only played in the silent films.

Here's one from before my time, but once you hear it, you never forget it- fill in the blanks:
"Brush-a brush-a brush-a, ____ ___ ___ ______".
Bonus if you can name the singer!

Ipana toothpaste?

Here's a tv jingle:

There's a holdup in the Bronx,
Brooklyn's broken out in fights,
There's a traffic jam in Harlem
That's backed up to Jackson Heights:
There's a scout troop short a child,
Khruschev's due at Idlewild,
__________ where are you?

Bonus for identifying what Idlewald was and what it is now.
No fair googling the answers.

That's "Car 54 Where are You?" isn't it Ken? The guy sitting in the passenger seat with a face like a gorilla always said "ooo!Ooo!". His partner was the guy who played Fred Munster I think. And the gorilla guy went on to play in a show about a couple of astronauts that crash back in the stone age time period.

Idlewild was an airport I think.

Now, if I could just find my Grecian formula.....

Gunther Toody (played by Joe E. Ross?)

Francis Muldoon (played by Fred Gwynn- went on to become Fred or Herman Munster.)

Idlewild was renamed JFK airport in 1963 or 4 after JFK was assassinated.

Any Sgt. Bilko fans around?
