Well, this has been a long 12 hours.
The guy that I see (we have been together for 4 months)is a csa survivor, as I am.
A while ago was barely functioning and he kept calling, just to let me know that he is there. I let him know that I was trying to deal with some stuff, he let it go at that. He kept calling once a day.
Last night I got a call from him, he is hurting and feeling alone, but doesn't want to see me, so I get to be in the position I put him in, I hate it. So now I get to be the one that calls once a day and tries to let him know that I care.
Guys, our partners need us as much as wee need them, be there for them if you can.

It ended, I think.
He melted down, isolated and called me and said to leave him alone (that I was using him).
Aaaarrrgggghhhhhh

I had a relationship like this, kind of cat and mousish. He'd try to support me, I'd push him away. I support him, he'd push me away, back and forth, back and forth.....till nothing....we both went saperate ways. He found someone new, I actually got married(I'm afraid of coming out).....but now we are able to be friends and the friendship is one the best one's I have in my life.
Things happen for reason and reasons make things happen.
Good luck, and you are a great person, LOVE YOURSELF FIRST!!!

I;m pretty sure that he is really a confused straight man, we had stopped the limited physical interaction already.
I miss him, he was a kind man and very considerate, I think I triggered him as much as he triggered me.
He was embarrassed to be seen in public with me (I think), so it would have ended soon, because I am not discrete, I do not hide.
I am going on my first public date in 3 years in Friday.

I make myself sound much colder than I am.
I call and leave a message once or twice a week, just saying that I'm around and a friend. I have bluntly said that if he wishes me to stop all he has to do is to say so, on the phone or leave a message.
I'm pretty sure he has no clue how great a guy he is.
But, I will not tie myself to someone I have seen once or twice a week for 5 months if he won;t communicate, at least. I have stated that it was a casual relationship, it is or was, but I miss my friend.
