So guys are there any other lefties on here? I would hope so, it would help me to know that other guys know the struggles we lefties go through in life. Just kinda cool to know? Only lefties need apply, sorry I'm discriminating against Righties.

It can be little things like no left handed desks in college? Maybe I should move to Europe or other parts of the world where they drive on the left side of the road?

In the United Kingdom and Australia they drive on the left side of the road, but the steering wheel is on the right side of the car, and the gearshift is then shifted with your left hand instead of your right. I have always found getting into the passenger-side of a car odd here, it does not seem to be the reverse of getting in on the left side for me.

I play pool left-handed, does that count???

Hi Charlie, trying to cut with right handed knives suck. Writing left handed sucks because you have to push the pen across the paper instead of pulling it the way it was designed to be used. Also your hand travels over the wet ink so it is likely to get smeared.

Leftie here - though shouldn't have been. Had my right hand badly burned when I was barely a toddler and wore like a boxing glove of wet bandages on it for a long time. So I learned to write left handed.

So I guess I'm a leftie by necessity... or something.

Hi Charlie,

Fully left handed/footed here. Dad is left handed also, he was the only one who could teach me to tie a tie and play tennis.

Here in S.F there is a left-handed store at Pier 39 close to Fishermans warf.

I bought left handed notebook paper (holes and binding) on right side of page which was cool to use. I bought left handed sissors but gave up using them, just couldn't. Programmed from childhood to conform into the right handed world, lol

Lefties rock.

Never seen a post like this here before, thanks for bringing it up.
