Wow! It is really sad that people do not understand the long term ramifications of allowing something like this to happen.
Shame on the Mother and Shame on the teacher...

If the mother does not comply with her court-ordered parenting plan, a DCF attorney said, the agency might come back to court and ask that the 15-year-old, and a younger sibling, be taken into state custody.

On the one hand, I think if the mother is found to have been ok with the affair that she should get her kids taken away. On the other hand, the foster care system could be even worse. So I don't know what should be done

having been sexually exploited by a female teacher while i was an adolescent I know that this mother is sick and the teacher no less so. The pain that this child experiences and will experience is so sad.
