Keep talking my friend, we're listening.
I think that we all entertain the fantasy of just being able 'to forget', make it go away like it never happened and then we could just somehow morph into this whole new person - the person we may have been without the CSA and then, gee, wouldn't life just be so grand, and.....
Well, it's a nice fantasy and sure going there from time to time does help to relieve the hurt that we feel. However, it's important that we re-center ourselves in our truth as much as possible because only there can we find the solutions to a hurtful past that has nothing of the fantasy about it.
And one of those solutions is talking to people who not only care but also who 'get it'. We here, your MS buddies, we 'get it'.

Hi, to my brothers in pain.
Crazy73, maybe you ought to change your signature.
How about HOPE73?
How about taking those thoughts about suicide out from your thinking?
Yes, we all now know (painfully) that we could not run, we could not hide nor could we drown that lost boy in either alcohol or drugs.
Here you will receive compassion, understanding and love, from your brothers (fraternal), friends (in pain). We all have been there, albeit in different ways.
Here I am HOME. I am with TRUE friends, whom will help me along my way. If I fall they will come and offer me a hand, they will lift me up, they will help me continue on our journey.
I've gone into the very depths of my soul. I've also gone into the very depths of hell too. I was scared, I was ready to quit, I was ready to run away, I was ready to try and drown that lost boy in alcohol again.
But I came here. I came HOME. I came back to my family.
So HOPE73, take our hand, take our heart and take our soul, We are here for you, anytime.
Heal well my brother/friend.
Pete (Irishmoose)
