You did what many have done before you, that is lurked in the backround reading posts and becoming familiar with the environment. Nothing wrong with that. All the while you were learning, discovering and finding your comfort zone. Good on you! And you're right, none of this is easy, but it does get easier once you've made connections with guys that you relate well with. My advice?
