I just got home for a nasty drive across town. The weather is a blizzard from Satan. I shot this video 15 minutes ago, out my front door. Right above the evergreen bushes there should be houses visible across the street.

Andy,

When I was 8-year-old we lived in Denver. We got a 4 foot snow.

Andy,

I hate driving to Denver for my job. because you always and I mean always have to chain up your truck when you get to Vail Co. Sept thur May.

That's awesome smile Growing up here in upstate New York means you learn to love the snow. A few years ago we even had some snow in May! I can't imagine settling someplace with a snow-less winter.

What I love about this latest Blizzard is that it started on my 1st of a 3-day weekend. woo HOO!!!! I watched 2 cars have to get pulled out of their parking spaces in the lot across the street. I'm lovin' it!

Corbain,

If I never saw another snow flake in my life it would be too soon. That is why I love living in the desert. If I want snow all I have to do is open my front door and look at the mountains out in the distance. Which is close enought for me.

I feel real bad for you Andy. That is the price that we occasionally have to pay for 250 days of sunshine here every year. It looks like snowmobile weather to me!!! Teri and I missed it because we were up in Central City Wednesday night (for free) and since they offered us another night (free) we just decided to stay. They only got about 6" in Central City. But Teri and I got 2 nights free, 2 trips to the buffet free, 2 trips to the deli free, and over $1000 free to take home too. And by noon today the roads were in decent shape.

It doesn't look as bad as the Great Christmas Blizzard in Denver in 1982. Back then the snow out in Aurora was FIVE FEET DEEP after 24 hours of snow like that. And I have seen an overnight snowstorm in both Montana and Minnesota with Five Feet overnight too.

What I really hate is when it is snowing so hard that you can't even see the end of the hood!!!
