Some of the most powerful lyrics I have ever heard, especially around 1:12-1:26. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jRXt2Bt1ScBrian

Green Lantern could fly, silly. C'mon Mel, I thought you were cultured.
Green Lantern wasn't on Superfriends. :p

What a cool thread! As soon as I saw it I had no doubt about my favorites - the themes for the CSI shows, all of which are taken from songs by The Who, my all-time favorite rock band. But okay, one from childhood: has no one chosen this one yet????? I just can't believe it!!!!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxIuIxqo2So

Larry,
That was because the Lone Ranger was from my Dad's childhood.

That was because the Lone Ranger was from my Dad's childhood. Ouch!!!!! When I was a kid I thought the show was historical. That is, I thought the Lone Ranger was a real person and these shows were about his life. But then, that's what I thought about Horatio Hornblower too. I was devastated when I asked for more books about him and the librarian took me to the "fiction" department. I was looking under "European history".
