crazy73 thanks for bringing up this topic. the general population should be aware that for those at male suruvivor who are struggling with such tendencies we have an 'at risk' forum that is accessible for members of male survivor, ie., those who have made a greater commitment to the financial support of the organization. [memberships are on a sliding scale]

maybe that is something you would want to consider. ken singer, lcsw is in charge of the 'at risk' forum and maybe you could private message him for advice about your concerns as they are related to the topic.

i am sure the 'at risk' forum has helped many other male survivors have a level of support unique to the issues at hand for males victims of sexual abuse, but i still encourage people who are struggling with this issue to avail themselves of the incredible resources that are also available for those who are considering self-harm. DON'T DO IT! Talk with someone about it.

and in case you're not in America, here's a couple of British ones...

for British youngsters

Samaritans for UK adults though all they do is listen

Might be a good idea if our Aussie/Canadian/French members posted their own general suicide helpline numbers? Since we don't know where the OP is based.

will get you to the main site to which you can also get specific locations in the major centers
