I am…
Pathetic
Destroyed
Forgotten
Annoyed

I am…
Alone
Hurting
Frightened
Reverting

I am…
Angry
Isolated
Dying
Violated

I am…
Betrayed
Abused
Lonely
Used

I am…
Ugly
Torn
Trapped
Forlorn

I am…
Guilty
Meek
Wounded
Weak

I am…
Dumb
Ashamed
Rejected
Blamed

I am…
Unfit
Powerless
Unloved
Useless

I am…
Penetrated
Helpless
Ignored
Worthless

It was just time for these words to come out, to identify each of them so maybe someday they can be worked on, dealt with.

Peace,

lars

Brother Lars;

always good to take the garbage out ;-)

when I read this I was reminded of the Toltec, whose teachings say that we begin as a perfect soul and are separated from that starting point by the messages we receive as we grow to maturity...

Here is something I print off that came from a book my Don Miguel Ruiz (a Toltec), the Four Agreements. I keep them close by as reminders, and the more true I am to them the more joy I experience.

1.Be Impeccable With Your Word

Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean.
Avoid using the word to speak against yourself
or to gossip about others.
Use the power of your word in the direction of
truth and love.

2.Don't Take Anything Personally

Nothing others do is because of you.
What others say and do is a projection of their
own reality, their own dream.
When you are immune to the opinions and
actions of others, you won't be the victim of
needless suffering.

3.Don't Make Assumptions

Find the courage to ask questions and to
express what you really want.
Communicate with others as clearly as you
can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness
and drama.
With just this one agreement, you can
completely transform your life.

4.Always Do Your Best

Your best is going to change from moment to
moment; it will be different when you are
healthy as opposed to sick. Under any
circumstance, simply do your best, and you
will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.

~~ funny the way a day gets busy and a post takes over 8 hours to type in... ;-)

Take care my Brother,

Wes

lars,

There are many who with you in those words. They share the same hurts. Thanks for sharing.

you may feel that way

you may hurt

and you feel all you said

but in reality we are all wonderful men who have been hurt

beyond the hurt and pain, the sun shines through us and there

really is a silver lining somewhere. We grab onto whatever
it is we can to believe in ourselves.
