Wondering if any Canadians here have had their private health insurance pay for therapy, and or WoR (Weekend of Recovery)?
25+ cm of snow today. UGH!

25 cm of snow is only about 10 inches. I was a tow truck driver in January of 1978 in the Great Blizzard in Cleveland when we got 36 inches of snow in 18 hours along with -60F windchills and 25-foot "surf" on Lake Eire. I don't consider snow "deep" until I have to push it with the front bumper of my semi!!!
You might ask Mogigo or Nobbynobs, if you can find them. DannyM has been in recent contact with Mike and you might ask him to relay the message. Here south of the border some insurance companies will pay for stuff like substance-abuse inpatient therapy but most will only pay for out-patient therapy. One of my dorm-mates at Hazelden was a blue-collar worker from a pharmaceutical company who attended there on his health insurance from work.
Last time I was at K-Mart they were having a sale on snow throwers!!!
Good luck,
Mark

Hi Geeders My Therapy sessions are going through on my provincial MSP card here in NL. I do have counselling services available with the place I work, However it will only cover a handful of sessions.
I went to my family doctor and was given a referral to the Psychiatrist. I don't have to pay anything other than 20% deductable for the Welbutrin that he has me on at the present time.
Talk to your doctor and see if you can get a referral to a Psychiatrist and it will most likely be covered with your health care card.
Steve

Yes, Robbie included several shots of me between age 4 (with my one grandfather) and age 29 (just a few months before I started into first try at therapy). If you were to fork-over the $35 for a membership there is a member-only art forum where photos of many of us here are posted. I have about a dozen photos posted on various topics there between age 4 and a current photo from last year with my wife.
Hope that you find what you are looking for north of the border, eh?
Mark
