I wish my mom was back...'cause I miss her terribly.
My therapist wanted me to make a list of what the "kid" in me would have wanted.
I'm still working on my list.

I want to be able to go back to work soon or win Powerball or even Little Lotto. Enough so that I could retire and make the house payments. Maybe an all-expense paid week for two to Las Vegas or Palm Springs, or maybe another ocean cruise. Or maybe a week at Beaver Creek in a nice loft condo with a private jacuzzi on the deck and a fire in the fireplace.
I wish that my wife and I could permanently solve our little differences and move forward together.
I wish that my liver disease would just go away.
I wish that we could all just get along,
Mark

My wish list is for. Me and that lost boy to be able to move on, and to be free as one. That my grandkids will never have to go through what we lost boys have. That you, me and all the others in this web site find the peace and serenity that we all so richly deserve. That maybe I can find the true reason for Christmas, a young boy's birth, a loving family. That I can find more acceptance with what happened, my past, and the wasted and lost years that ensued. To be able to say that was then, and this is now, and to get on with life as it is today instead of wishing it were different. To put in the effort needed to make some changes in my life, that would be a good gift.
The "kid" in me would want I think to have felt accepted in his new neighborhood and not be shunned, to have had the family operate in a healthier way, and to not have become the person he became. I think the "kid" would have liked to have been the person he was before all this, but seemed like circumstances destroyed; the "kid" would like that person back. That would be a great gift!
Thanks for the thread, Eric
