You need to take this story of twisted abuse to a priest or pastor or rabbi or whatever minister of the faith you were raised in, and have the lies and untruths that were drilled into you straightened out.

I was raised in a strict catholic envirenment and of all of the violences I had to endure as a child, the religious violence I suffered was the hardest to overcome.

Today I do have a fonctionning and gratifying relationship with my God, but I can tell you that it was hell getting here.

Second, I want to tell you that you did nothing wrong and the shame you carry is your mothers and not yours.
You were a child who was abused by his mother for her own twisted needs. You are not at fault. God knows all things and he truely knows that you are not at responsible for what took place.
If there are any sins to be judged in what happen to you they belong to your mother.

a child has little or no power, Shame, and yours was repeatedly taken away from you - pointedly so - in an environment where you were supposed to be learning how to use your developing power...you have much courage telling your story and it is going to take all that courage to continue your journey...i agree with Michael - the sins AND the shame belong to your mother...
