Apparently this is post #500 for me-
Any way, i just wanted to let folks know that i found both Mike Lew's "Victims No Longer", as well as Mic Hunter's "Abused Boys" at my newly-local library. I've still got to get some mail at my new address for ID purposes before getting the ol' library card, but you can bet i spent a good few hours poring over both tomes.
The odd thing about it for me, was that my 2nd abuser had zeroed in on me, while i'd been parked at a cubby in the Boston Public Library, while skipping school- so yeah, it was a little odd; reading a book in a library, to help me cope with CSA memories, some of which have their origins in my reading a book in a library...
I can't remember the author of the quote, but it brings this to mind:
"The universe is not only stranger than you imagine; it is stranger than you can imagine."
'Nuff said. Happy December, my brothers and sisters...
