a lot of the members who run the program that I went to were employes at a WWASP affiliated program and used a very similar type of methodology/brain washing. Make sure you think twice before ever send you children away to one of these places!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, WWASP is a serious blight. Many of their US-based schools and the vast majority of their overseas schools have been shut down by local governments for child abuse and torture. The president of WWASPS has stated that he believes public opinion has been swayed by a cadre of manipulative teens, who were former "students", and their duped parents. I don't know how he reconciles this statement with his claim that his program's effectiveness at reforming teens is 97%.

I'm so sorry you had to go through that, and thanks for putting up this information. We need to hear more about this outrage. One kid told me he had been beaten in one of these places far worse than anything he had ever received from his drunken father. When I first saw him he told me, "I know why you really came, it's okay. I'll do whatever you want - just don't hit me." Bastards.
