There is some small town southeast of Cleveland that has a really steep hill at the north end of the Main St. there. Every Halloween all of the local kids bring all of their pumpkins to the top of the hill, which is at least 12%-15% gradient, and roll their pumpkins down the street until the hill is covered in a gooey mess, then they slide down it. The hill is 2 city blocks long and maybe 100 feet high. The next morning the fire department washes it all off until next year. It has been a tradition there for several generations.
