Happy Thanksgiving Long-weekend eh to all the Canadians here!
Beauty! Turkey, dressing, mashed spuds, lots of vitamin filled veggies. And, oh how could I forget... BEER! Take off eh! I remember making a "pilgrim's" hat out of construction paper & wearing it home from playschool. My favourite thanksgiving dish had peas, those baby onions & whole toasted (mostly burned lol) almonds in them. There were never enough drumsticks. Currently combining octopus & turkey dna, eh? So watch your supermarket shelves/freezers for Maple Leaf brand "Butter Tentacles Octo-Gobbler" next season. Skookum! C

So our election is now signed, sealed and delivered apart from a few days of possible recounts and all that jazz.
Tomorrow I'll turn on the news and be glad that its all over. The signs will come down within the next week...
Then somewhere along the way, I'll catch a news story that says something about USA's seemingly neverending election process that isn't due to be completed for another month or something.
Good lord. I wonder how much cheaper a Canadian election is versus the south-of-the-border system.

Well its fuzzy around the edges but it looks prettymuch the same to me  Rick Mercer and Rex Murphy looked sooooo bored lastnight Peter Mansbridge had a nice suit on though. It was weird when he would be talking then walk towards the big screen to "talk to Ian Hanomansing" or any one of the other 'on location' guys. He would still be talking but walking away from the camera... You'd think they would've figured out a better way to do that.
