The Weather Channel is calling for 6" to 12" of snow in eastern Montana and northern Wyoming today and tonight!!! And here in Colorado we have already had snow several times at higher elevation. Just last weekend we had 6"+ at over 9000 feet elevation. Look-up Loveland Basin Ski Area on Google. They have some recent photos of their snowmaking efforts. They usually open at least one well-shaded easy run off of chairlift #1 by mid-October. Of course, their base elevation is almost 11,000 feet high! And Arapahoe Basin should open shortly after Loveland does. http://www.skiloveland.com/snowmaking/Glad I'm not in Cabo San Lucas these days with a Cat-3 hurricane bearing down. And I have seen 17" of snow in Amarillo before, so I know that it does snow in Texas. While you are in Amarillo why don't you give the 72 oz sirloin a try at the Big Texan Restaurant right alongside I-40 east of town? It's free if you can eat it all!!! http://www.bigtexan.com/72ozlive.htm Have you got your skis and sled tuned-up yet, let alone the storm windows on and the garden hose put away yet? Better get to work, Mark

This reminds me of a thread on the member's side from a few years back. Sorry to those of you who've not signed up as members. We'd be glad to have you over there Without further comment here it be!
