My cousin plays it for me when I'm scared and I talk to her on the phone...she plays it off her computer..I love it. I could have it on cd or something but it's so much more special when she plays it for me.

This was the song my close friend used to sings for me when I'm down.

It's funny, whenever I'm sad or angry or whatever, I have to listen to music that matches my mood. I've found it's a much more effective way to vent. That said, I won't name specifics, but here are the names of a few bands that are worth checking out for sure.

Wow, I've been hiding (surviving) in music since I was 13 (47 now). My list would be WAY too long for here.

It's also dependent on my mood. Do I feel like crying? Play some old Elton John (Good Bye Yellow Brick Road).

Do I need to feel hopeful? Play Yes's Close to the Edge or Starship Trooper (just heard an excellent live version on Sirius Deep Tracks driving here).
