Yesterday, I was the victim lost
Today, I am the survivor found
Tomorrow, I will be the who was meant to be

Yesterday, life was naught but tears
Today, I am facing all my the pain
Tomorrow, victory shall be mine forever

Yesterday, I was lost inside
Today, I am finding my way
Tomorrow, I will stand on my own

Yesterday, I was the child
Today, I am the man
Tomorrow, I will be more than that

Yesterday, hope had died
Today, hope has been renewed
Tomorrow, I will just be Paul

"I finally have my heart!"

To the perps: Don't worry about me coming after you. But you damn well better watch out for God! "Vengeance is mine", saith the Lord

We should all print this out, put our name in the last line and put a copy of it everywhere and anywhere... even keep a copy of it in our wallets!

Precious poem Paul!

I like Michael's idea. This one is a keeper for sure. I especially appreciate the last verse. I look forward to the day when I can look at myself and just see Larry as opposed to Abused Larry. That day is coming and I know it; so yes, there is hope.

Much love,

Nobody living can ever stop me
As I go walking my freedom highway.
Nobody living can make me turn back:
This land was made for you and me.
(Woody Guthrie)

this is well written, well done, well planned, well executed.

i love the simple structure that carries the message and the reader effortlessly through time.

thank you, Tinman.
