Sometimes the confusion leads to pain...

positive (as apposed) to negative results.

I guess...what I am trying to say is...I'm not exactly sure I want to FIGHT these feelings.

I am absolutely positively sure, I would like to have a better grasp or sense of understanding of WHAT I am dealing with...

It is clearly obscure. (no joke)

And it is simply this HARD for me to figure this stuff out sometimes. (these emotions)

I've got owners manuals on everything I own (including the can opener).

I have the same questions myself. I am a member of AA and NA and SAA !! too.
Once I got clean it left this huge vaccum that was instantly filled up with lots of feelings I had not dealt with sober ever. My only answer for me is; I am what I am ! (I am bi/genderqueer into D&s with consenting partners only)
it may not be mainstream, but then lots of other people are not mainstream either.

I hope this helps in some small way.
