Ok guys, I picked up a Toshiba model PSAG8U-02E018. I have not fired it up yet, but my first gripe is that it has no latch for the lid. I certainly DO like that the power plug is on the side instead of the back - I like to tilt these things at times. I will maintain faith and give this one a whirl. I'm sure it will work to my expectations and beyond.

Meanwhile, I'm planning on making a vid of myself smashing the old laptop with an 8-pound sledge. Just need to talk a friend into running my camera for me whilst I flail away.
