how about victims no longer.....just kidding hahaha

my idea is pretty close to magraith:

breaking the chains of male sexual abuse: guideposts to recovery

i think it is important to specify sexual abuse.

thanks ken [and larry]

wow this book really seems like the single most comprehensive piece of literature on the subject that I have ever seen. Just by reading through the Table of Contents, this seems like everything that I need to learn about and deal with.

It is as if you broke down all of the parts of my therapy and put it into a single source of information.

Awsome Job, Larry!!! I think this is going to be a tremendous contribution to survivors and everyone that is associated with them!

this book almost sounds like a "recovery bible" of some sort.

how about something simple that accurately depicts what it is and should used/ useful for: "The Male CSA Recovery Guide."

Iím so thrilled with what the table of contents promises.

A title suggestion from me:

ďBreaking the Hold: Dismantling the effects of sexual abuseĒ

I personally donít like the exclusion that a gender identified title has. I have no problem in the jacket cover stating a book is centred on male CSA (or female CSA) because thatís where the book can be better explained, but Iíve been put off some books that focus their title on females.

In the past Iíve immediately disqualified them without getting into further detailed looks on the content. I know thatís my fault but when youíre looking for books of this very sensitive nature you donít want any more buttons pressed than necessary.

And finally, can you give us a publication date?

I'm still playing around with possible titles. Larry (Roadrunner) is talking to a potential publisher as am I. I think we'll have an announcement here when we have some news. The additional good news is that Mike Lew and I spent nearly two hours on the phone last week going over suggestions from him and he loves the approach and content.
