Guys,

A while back the film "Chosen" had its world premier at an Oxford film festival and I was lucky enough to be offered a ticket for it. It's one of the best documentaries I have seen on the topic of male CSA, and it focuses on the cases of three men who attended a boarding school in England several decades ago.

I really recommend you see this if you can, and if you feel able to watch films like this. There's nothing visually graphic in it, though it's rough to watch the three men talk about their experiences and then you get a shot of that guy as a frightened broken child.

Here's the trailer for the film. It will be on UK television on More4 soon and I will post about that when I have definite word. There will also be broadcasts in the USA but I don't have details yet.

This really is an important film, and you can't help but admire the courage of the three survivors whose contributions stand at the heart of it.

Larry, I would like to check this out, but if it is a new film we here in the States may have to wait for it to be on video and order it online to see it.

thanx for the post.

I will let everyone know when the film can be seen in the USA. For now the latest news is that there was a screening at the Royal Society of Arts last night, so it was seen by a lot of people with ties to education. The first public showing of the film will be in the UK on More4, September 30th at 10:00 pm.

I really do urge you to see this film if you can. It's a powerful witness to the courage of three amazing survivors and an example of the sort of positive things that are possible for us to do if and when we get to the point that we want to reach out to the rest of the world.

Much love,
Larry

You will definitely be able to see it Lewis. Here's the link for the website, by the way, for those who are interested: http://www.chosen.org.uk/

I really do recommend this film. It was especially moving for me to see it and then talk to two of the survivors who feature in it, but even without that it's a powerful experience.

Much love,
Larry

There will be a T2 feature piece on the film in the Times tomorrow. The Guardian will be running something on the 30th.

Just a quick note to remind guys in Europe of the screening of Chosen tomorrow evening. It may also be possible for guys in the USA to see it then through an Internet connection, but I really don't have any idea how that would work.

Chosen is listed for 10PM Uk time. There is approximatly a five hour time difference depending on where you live. So 10PM in the UK is 5PM here

Does Quebec have daylight savings time? And east of Maine is the Atlantic time zone in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI, and Newfoundland too. 6:00 PM Atlantic daylight time, 5:00 PM Atlantic standard time.

I hope that isn't too confusing.

Mark: Newfoundland and Labrador actually have their own time zone. Its half an hour ahead of Atlantic. 5pm in toronto=6pm in Halifax=6:30 pm in Newfyland.

Larry,

The trailer alone is tough to watch!

Do you think the non-CSAed public will learn from this? I always wonder about these films...does anyone out there really give a sht? I have to say "no."

Guys,

For those of you who missed this film first time around, it will be broadcast again on the UK's Channel 4 on December 15th at 10:00 pm/= 5:00 pm Eastern time. The film might also be available free on the C4 website at www.channel4.com - see "free catch up" in the center of the screen.

Chosen has already engendered a lot of discussion here in the UK and Kevin Lygo, Director (Television and Content) for C4, has described it as "the stand-out documentary of the year." I have met the director of the film and two of the three guys whose stories make up the film, and it has been great to work with men who are as committed to making as difference as these guys are.

Rob comments that the trailer is tough to watch, and yes, take care of yourselves if you think you would like to see this documentary. There is a lot of heartfelt discussion of very triggery issues, and the format is interviews with the three survivors interspersed with photographs of them as boys and of the men who hurt them. If you are in a rough place it would be a good idea to watch this with someone you know and trust, and if it gets to be too much just walk away. There will be other opportunities to see things like this and your safety is of first importance. If you are in therapy it would be a good idea to discuss this with your T before deciding to watch it.

Much love,
Larry

Hi Larry:

I don't see Chosen on the drop down list or the A-Zed list as being available from a Canadian ip address. Can you see it listed?

Cheers from the colonies.

Jim, Joel,

I don't see it listed anywhere on the site yet either, and I am checking from within the UK. Tom Perry is keeping me posted and I will pass on any details I receive. But it may prove that, as Steve cautions, Channel 4 will block non-UK viewers the same way the BBC does. That would be annoying but of course there's nothing we can do about it if this is what they decide to do.

Much love,
Larry

Tom Perry is checking with C4 on the questions of foreign access. Meanwhile he tells me that the producers have made the film available in the USA. If you are interested, check out the details on this address: http://www.truevisiontv.com/videos/index.htm

Chosen will be available over the net (worldwide)- no geographical limitations from midnight (GMT) tonight. Go to www.chosen.org.uk and look for the tab "Watch Film"

The film is free to see, but viewers are invited to make small contributions using the means provided.

Joel and others,

As I have said previously, just bear in mind that this is a very powerful film. Three guys will look out at you and say, "This is what they did", and there will be a lot of stills of the guys as boys, also shots of the abusers. It might be helpful if you have someone you trust there to watch the film with you.

But all that said, it's very uplifting. These three men refused to stay shut up and have done something incredibly courageous not only for themselves but for so many others. It shows that we really do have what it takes to see ourselves through to recovery, even if it doesn't feel like that now.

Much love,
Larry

When you get to the end of recovery, is there a sign post or marker that says :"Recovered, end of journey"? I am so sick and yes, pissed over being in recovery. I want this done, now.....I'm tired and I don't wanna play no more!!! Geez, that felt good smile

Maybe this film will give me some badly needed insights. And thanks for the warning, Larry.

By my calculation its 12:38 GMT Monday Dec. 15th, but I see no Tab to watch the film. Am I missing something? Can anyone else see the tab, or is there anyone currently watching the film?

I don't know what I'm not doing right, but on channel4.com when I select watch online and select Chosen I get this:

You need to be within the UK or the Republic of Ireland to watch Channel 4 programmes.

Larry:

You seem to know the people who made this film. Please convey to them that I think they have done a fantastic job. And the courage of those men! Omigod! They have indeed set an excellent example for us, and set a new standard for open dialogue of the issue of male sexual abuse and assault. I hope our CBC will pick it up. I shall write to them tomorrow and urge them to do so. In saying this it may also be prudent to ask if the show is aired, are our community resources ready to handle what will surely come? Probably not, but then, will we ever be, without those who stand up and shout End the Silence?

With my heartfelt thanks for any and all efforts you extended, and as well to those who you contacted, to get this documentary on the internet.

Jim

Larry,

I bought the dvd after watching the film instead of downloading.
I want to support them in their endeavors after making such a powerful statement on what happen to us as children.

I want my wife and adult children to watch it also. I feel it will shed alot of on what happen to me as a child and why I have behave in the matter that I have in the past.

This film has given me so much insight and understanding into the effects of how the abuse by my teacher has shaped my life.

Hi Jim,

An copy email arrived with me which you kindly sent to the production company. Thank you for your generous comments.

I've submitted a request for the download information - as soon as I've a reply I'll let you know. I'll also try to get the demographics for the numbers. With Christmas and New Year, few are at work and True Vision have had a very busy year. I think they are probably whacked! Brian has never had such huge critical acclaim in previews and reviews for a documentary. The full listings (and there are so many it is extraordinary) are going to be put on the website in the New Year. The coverage has been truly extraordinary and it is helping with all the political stuff we seeing daylight on.

Happy New Year Jim.

Thanks Tom.. You guys really did an extraordinary job on this and are to be commended for being so open, honest, and human. You really help put a light on this that I hope will never, ever go away.

Please, if you are in touch with Alastair and Mark, give them my best personal regards, and thanks as well. You have all done so much, and so well, you should all be bloody well knighted!

Happy Holidays from the colonies!

Details just received from Tom:

Chosen has been viewed 1124 times since going live. 72% of those viewings have been from the US. There have been 809 views from the USA and 315 from the UK. Unfortunately, donations are not meeting the cost of keeping the film available, so it seems unlikely it will be online for much longer.

Logan,

I really don't know; you could email Tom about that. The problem is that the producer has to pay a modest fee every time the film is viewed. There is a facility on the website for making donations, but the response so far has not been very encouraging.

US - 809 views – 1 donation = 0.001%
UK - 315 views - 14 donations = .04%

I really do recommend this film. It was especially moving for me to see it and then talk to two of the survivors who feature in it, but even without that it's a powerful experience.

Much love,

The best promotion would be to put it on Netflix and Amazon.com. Maybe the existing website could sell the film and show a leader but not the whole film which loses money.

O.K.

I watched the film and I would like to make a modest donation. Thing is now that my ex is gone, I have made it a priority to act my wage. They were using pounds, the last time I was on that side of the pond.

So I think I'm on standby, I dunno, I guess I'm wondering if anybody has a conversion rate or something.

I will try to make a donation next month. I had to pay my property taxes and it kind of cleaned me out.

The producers are their own worst enemy, for UK donations anyway you can't just log in to your own Paypal account like the website implies that you can and give them money oh no, whatever happens they want your postal address as if you're going to buy the DVD when you're not. It wouldn't surprise me if they've lost a heap of donations this way.

I've emailed them to see if I can get a direct donation email address and not have to give my postal address, otherwise I'll consider a cheque.

So whenever an American viewer tries to make a donation, let me know whether you have the same problems across the pond.

I related to many of the emotions expressed in the production.

Used words and explanations I've not even reached considering so far. Donation provided and worth every cent.

Thanks to all those involved.

It has been a while since I've been to the MS site and even longer since I last posted on "Chosen"

NEWS -- Today (24 March 09) BAFTA, The British Academy of Film and Television Arts, announced that "Chosen" has been nominated for best single documentary 2008.

Follow the link for the Awards site http://www.bafta.org/awards/television/ See nominations link from this page.

This is very rewarding given the challenge the producers had just getting the documentary funded. "It's too dark; we've done paedophiles; the audience is not up to it;" and so on and so on, all of it incorrect of course, but the 5 commissioning editors in British TV all said "no" at least twice each, and they were all wrong. It therefore gives me some pleasure that Chosen has been nominated because this subject is now being understood by a wider audience here in the UK, and from a few comments from those who have unfortunately experienced abuse it also helped some of them/us.

The BAFTA's are the British television Oscars and quite worryingly all three of us the contributors will be attending, and lowering the tone of the whole evening.

The BAFTA Awards Ceremony is broadcast live on BBC TV on the 26th April.

Here's hoping!

It is good to here from you again Tom! I hope you are doing well. It is fantastic that "Chosen" has been nominated for best single documentary 2008. It sure does deserve it!

Tom,

Congratulations to you and to each and every person who worked on this very important docufilm.

Its nomination for such a prestigious award is indeed good news and is very encouraging for all male survivors. Maybe the current taboo and societal silence are finally being lifted and will be heard at last.

Lewis, Michael, and Joel,

Thank you so very much for your kind comments. I'll pass on all your comments to the team. Lewis, it will be live on BBC on the 26th April - if we get it I am hoping we might be able to send a few waves across the pond of complacency - watch that space!

Larry asked some questions recently about hits and viewing figures to which I am getting the answers.

Thanks again chaps.

Hi Tom:

I am thrilled to bits for you and the others about your nomination. Congratulations! You all deserve this recognition both for the story, and for its production. And yes, ripples may indeed result in some good things happening here.

I'll be keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you!

All the best,

To both Geeders and 'fromtoday' who so kindly left messages, thank you.

A quick update following a question asked by Larry. Since the online film went live it had been watched 15 times each day. so thus far it has been watched 1958 time.

I've asked for demographics, and percentage pays, and lots of other questions, all of which is taking a longtime to answer. As soon as I have more I will provide it.

Not long now, and hopefully even being able to slap "BAFTA Nomination" on the box will lead to a wider commercial release for the film.

To all of the newer members here at MS the docufilm CHOSEN is a British production dealing with male CSA as told by three very brave survivors. These men are eloquent even as they recount the gut wrenching reality of the sexual abuse they were made to endure while at boarding school.

These testamonials are chock full of very valuable insights and the film is a must see for the message of hope that comes through in spite of the obvious pain of the three main caracters.

Its raw, its real, its graphic in places, so TRIGGER WARNING

Brian Wood’s powerful documentary Chosen, featuring very personal and disturbing accounts of sexual abuse by teachers at the Caldicott Prep School in the 1960s, triumphed in 'Single Documentary'.

Wow, that is more than brilliant! a victory for survivors everywhere and for all the children who were at the Caldicott Prep School.

Tom, i just want to give you a hug, i can see how emotional it was for you to be up there on stage. You are amazing, you really are.

Lewis, Joel, Jesse,

Thank you so much for your postings - Jesse you were lightening quick! And where did you find that picture - I have not even found that picture!

Lewis - you were quite correct - you see I cannot take compliments - and Brian was saying something nice which unknowingly triggered me.

On the Chosen website - the clip of the award is now embedded but there is also another clip "link" which is a BAFTA interview with Brian the Director and the MD of the production company.

It takes a few moments to load.

http://www.chosen.org.uk/watch_bafta_interview

It was an exhausting evening. I am doing a radio interview tomorrow BBC 5 live - 08.45am but I need to get sleep before then else I'll not be able to think straight.

Jesse,

Please please send me the link to this picture - I am really battling to find stuff - and knew of this and another picture but cannot find any.

Please send me a message with the link - many thanks.

NOW HERE IS AN INTERESTING PIECE OF INFORMATION - IN THE PICTURE THERE ARE FOUR MALE SURVIVORS OF CSA - YOU KNOW THREE.

THE FOURTH IS 'OUT' BUT I'VE NOT ASKED HIS PERMISSION TO IDENTIFY HIM.

This is the Tuesday show and this link only lasts a week. When the player comes up press play move the "slider" to about 2.41 or about then and be patient till it comes on - it should only be a couple of moments. I do not know if this has Geographic limitation or not - obviously I hope not.

I feel I could have done better but there we are. Technical issues intervened which affected my concentration and flow. But it is still ok. This afternoon a TV broadcaster contacted us and they are talking about doing a "special" on the failures we highlighted at the BAFTA's. They referred to it as our "attack on Ed Balls" - who is the Secretary of State for Children Schools and Families.

There are two other opportunities presently being worked on also. So we are moving - but soon it will become difficult again - so we need to take advantage of alomst everything we can now!

Tom,

You were brilliant! And still I sit here heavy in my heart at what you had to say.....

I have long since made my peace with the fact that child sexual abusers will always walk amongst us, as they have since the dawn of time, however, what I cannot reconcile is our that governements only pay lip service to protecting the most fragile in our midst.

If only children had the right to vote - they'd be paid much more attention to by those in power today and who are inadvertantly setting us all up for the prospect of a frightening tomorrow.

Oh geez, I feel a rant coming on, I'd better shut up grin

Joel, my beloved big brother.

I was struck by this comment... and as such will share that I believe that Legeslation will have little to no affect on societal ills. I believe that the way to make change is from the individual on out. I agree that we are unlikely to eliminate preditors amoung us, like those who abused and hurt me. It is incumbant on each and every survivor, as each's healing permits, to tear down the veil of silence around Incest and Child Sexual Abuse. As we do this the preditors will be revealed earlier and the survivors will be allowed to walk in the light.

That's a start... probably a thread out there on the topic already...

Love you all,

Wes

Hi To all my brothers/friends.

Well I have finally figured out how to use my new computer. I was watching the Chosen, but without sound. Then my friend came in and asked me what I was watching and I told him, but no sound. Well he and I finally figured it out.

The only thing that I can say is those men were very couragous.

We as young boys and our SECRETS have paid a terrable price for our secercy. They had parents. I did not, but now I see that it really didn't matter after all. I'm glad that they are in recovery and had the guts to go public.

It is very sad that all of us boys here in this site were also CHOSEN. I see where I wasn't the only one trapped by liking it, by someone who (i/we thought had an interest in us.

Thanks to the BBC for having the courage of delving into this subject of child sexual abuse.

To all of us who were Chosen, I wish you all and myself well in our recovery.

Heal well my brothers/friends.

Channel 4's digital channel More4 picked up the broadcast rights to Chosen, the Beeb just screened the awards ceremony.

Our licence fee benefactors did screen A Place For Paedophiles recently, so they're making an effort and can't be held responsible for the poor editing choices that stopped a below-average documentary from being good.

Sorry for any confusion Jesse, just correcting petercorbett - the BBC screened the awards ceremony where Chosen won but didn't have anything to do with funding the documentary (whether they were one of the 16 production companies that rejected it, Tom will have to tell us).

However, the BBC did broadcast Louis Theroux's documentary A Place For Paedophiles, so presumably co-produced it.

Hope that clears things up.

No problem Peter, didn't want to come across as pedantic, in fact I think one comment by Alistair from the film during the acceptance speech about a Brit politician not changing the law yet made the news by itself - indirectly we can thank the BBC for that.

This movie still resonates within me greatly, their feelings, their expressions, the raw emotions....

"Mark:

I lived for thirty years without acknowledging that I was a victim. That’s a huge period of time, that’s, you know, likely to be more than, hopefully a third of my life.

Tom:

There isn’t a day that passes, when I don’t think about, at some stage, what happened to me.

Allastair

I don’t think you ever, ever forget what happened. I don’t care what people say, I don’t care whether people have managed to sublimate the experience, or suppress it so successfully that they never give it a second thought. Its imbedded in your psyche. You cannot get rid of it.

There were times when I,,, assumed, that the fact that I had had this relationship with him, he had been attracted to me, meant that I was probably gay. And as I went through adolescence, and early adulthood I was desperate to overcome that and um,and I, it took me a very, very long time to feel comfortable with my feelings of affection and sexual desire. Um, and I think these, um these problems are manifested in different victims in a myriad of different ways.

I get reminded literally everyday of what happened; it could be a smell, a sound, it could be a memory, it could be something in the news, its always there. "

Tom, Mark, Allastair, you spoke for so many of us. Thank you. And congratulations again.

Hi again my brothers/friends.

Yep, that Irishmoose is back again.

I've thought about that movie all night and up to this very moment. I just can't shake it either. But my memories were buried for 55 years after the final sexual act. I will never again forget it. I am right now dealing with my feelings, and my sexuality.

I will add my thanks also to those courages men,
Tom, Mark & Allistar.

To them and all my brothers/friends on this web site,
Heal well.

Pete (Irishmoose)

I am sorry that this post will mean so little to those outside the UK, however a revered broadcaster here Jon Snow, who introduced the film when it was screened on Channel 4, commented on the film earlier this week saying:

“Chosen has been one of the most important contributions Television has yet made to our social development, on a par with Cathy Come Home!”
Jon
JON SNOW

Whilst this will be meaningless to many readers, the Wikipedia entry for Cathy Come Home is truly fascinating and will help frame the significance of his comment.

There are some extremely interesting postings on the documentary website from survivors, parents of survivors, and others. The different directions from which these postings are made is striking.

They can be seen at the not exactly obvious link page of http://www.chosen.org.uk/comments

It is quite probable that a number of survivors will find these posts very helpful.

The BAFTA presentation 'clip' has reappeared on the Chosen site.

It is worth seeing just for the message delivered by Alastair to the Secretary of State for Children Schools and Families - Mr Ed Balls, which has caused significant discomfort in his Ministry.

Tom,

You are so right. And I would say that the importance of Chosen extends far beyond the domain of its specific subject - abuse in the English public (private) schools. My feeling is that with this recognition its impact will continue to grow.

So again, what a tribute to the courage and strength of three terribly harmed and betrayed boys who somehow made it through the dark days to become men capable of such an achievement. We are all in your debt.

Much love,
Larry

I'm so glad to have been able to see that presentation Tom. Thank you for posting the link again.

I can imagine that Ed Balls, as well as his entire Ministry, is hoping that this will all just go away. Go away so that the government is not accountable for failing to see what has been going on, or for recognizing its abject failure to protect the children.

In Ontario, the laws were changed oh perhaps 10 years ago to make it an offence for anyone, not just professionals to fail to report their suspicions. I say suspicions as the requirement to have proof, or a belief of having proof was removed. The law applies to all people equally, and moreso to those in regular contact with children where failure to report can result not only in a conviction for the offence, but can also result in disciplinary action from what ever professioanl body governs their occupation, up to and including removing the ability to work. Having been in child welfare at that time, I can say that I am not aware of anyone ever beinng convicted of failure to report, but can say that a few professionals have had the credentials examined when they have failed to report. I'd be happy to discuss this legislation further if you'd like.

Thanks again for your update on the post.

My very best to Mark and Allistair as well as the entire production crew. Bloody marvelous!

Jim

Further news update on the campaign to introduce a law to make it a statutory obligation on all schools to report all events of alleged abuse to the authorities.

Following Alastair's acceptance speech at the BAFTA's we were contacted by Teacher Tv which resulted in a televised interview which is being broadcast tonight. It is also available on the web

http://www.teachers.tv/news/33758

I do not know if there is a geographical limit - let's hope not.

At the end of Alastair's piece, Ed Balls the Secretary of State appears saying he "knew the film was going to win" almost making it sound as though it was his idea - cheeky prat.

But worse than that, and like many politicians, he misled the audience and suggested we were wrong to suggest there is no statutory obligation to report alleged abuse. We are absolutely correct let me tell you. What is more if a school fails to report abuse, there is no sanction on the institution. But it is now all out in the open - and Balls is looking edgy. The genie is out of the Government's counterfeit bottle. I am feeling quite chipper really - he is on the backfoot.

Tallyho!

Well I think this will probably be the last post I make on Male Survivor.org - and almost certainly the last post on Chosen. As Peter Cooke and Dudley Moore sang - 'now is the time to say goodbye!' But before I go there is something

NEWS

Last night Chosen won an RTS [Royal Television Society] award for Educational impact in Primetime. http://www.rts.org.uk/Info_page_two_pic_2_det.asp?art_id=7792&sec_id=3864 . The pleasing part of winning the award is that it was presented by Prof. Tanya Byron http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tanya_Byron who is well versed on the subject of child sexual abuse. She said "I am delighted Chosen has won because the film is so powerful and so important."

The documentary is likely to be put on pay per view online shortly but meantime can still be seen from the Chosen website www.chosen.org.uk

Meanwhile I am concentrating on seeking change to the statutory framework in England. Progress is being made - and pressure on the Government is mounting.

A bientot.

I've been aware of this film for a while but hesitated pressing the 'watch' button for months. A week ago I settled down, clicked onto the website and went through to the 'WATCH' button as I had done maybe six times before but this time - clicked.

Its like jumping from an aeroplane. Everything says don't but when you land you feel good. Very little of the film is easy. Watching it is an intimate experience. What was said opened doors. I'll be watching again and I wish I'd 'clicked' sooner.

An article I noticed in the press earlier this week : http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-16037078

The school mentioned in the article is Caldicott which was the subject of the documentary. On the Chosen website the film has been 'suspended' and sales of DVD's stopped with a statement explaining why.

The BAFTA award winning documentary Chosen has been reloaded following the successful prosecution of the last of the multiple child abusers who taught at Caldicott School. The film is extremely good (major triggers)

A short history of Chosen and events that followed the first broadcast on a national TV channel can be seen by following this link where the documentary can also be watched http://truevisiontv.com/films/details/97/chosen .

By following the link you will also be provided with short history of events as well as extensive and detailed reporting by the Times newspaper following Wright's conviction. The first article appeared on Wednesday 18th December 2013.

This documentary was amazing. Brutally frank. It is especially amazing when you realize that it was just 97 minutes of four men talking - not actors, unscripted, just talking. And yet completely mesmerizing not just for the content, but for the fact that you could feel each man's heart in what he said.

it was draining.
very disturbing.
it makes me mad.
can't handle it.
hear the truths.
hurt to believe.
it is organized.
out in the open.
no one stops it.
can't save them.
always too late.
the damage done.
hard to stomach.

The sentencing hearing for the final two perpetrators from the infamous Caldicott School child sex abuse trials, is slated to happen this week (w/c 02/03/14). Will it?

Little seems to have gone smoothly in either the police investigations or the criminal processes.

Read some the key press, and see the documentary here http://truevisiontv.com/films/details/97/chosen

Another of the former pupils of Caldicott. Very powerful article which some might find triggering http://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/li...reets-1-3347514 The fallout, as always, is significant

Here are some of the former pupils from the school at which multiple perpetrators taught who decided to come out - starts with a short news piece about another subject for 30 seconds https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOZdMKI2MYE&feature=youtu.be

The men from Caldicott are stirring up Government on child protection and the porous nature of the law that is meant to protect children. Tom, one of the people in the documentary is the founder of a pressure group called @MandateNow that have been in existence for a couple of years. Quite unbelievably in the UK there is no mandatory reporting. After a June report into Savile's abuse in hospitals was released by the Government, MandateNow appeared on BBC News https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyjkA5j-Ps4&feature=youtu.be and he was very robust in his commnent.

London - Last night Yvette Cooper the Shadow Home Secretary announced the Labour Party's commitment to Mandatory Reporting.

The all important detail is awaited.

The man who was the founding contributor of this film is also the founder of the leading pressure group in England that advocates for the introduction of Mandatory Reporting of suspected abuse in institutions and other fields. The group is called Mandate Now. You can find them at www.mandatenow.org.uk and on twitter at https://twitter.com/mandatenow They lead the agenda on this matter. See the website.
