Does Quebec have daylight savings time? And east of Maine is the Atlantic time zone in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI, and Newfoundland too. 6:00 PM Atlantic daylight time, 5:00 PM Atlantic standard time.
I hope that isn't too confusing.
Mark

Mark: Newfoundland and Labrador actually have their own time zone. Its half an hour ahead of Atlantic. 5pm in toronto=6pm in Halifax=6:30 pm in Newfyland.

Guys, For those of you who missed this film first time around, it will be broadcast again on the UK's Channel 4 on December 15th at 10:00 pm/= 5:00 pm Eastern time. The film might also be available free on the C4 website at www.channel4.com - see "free catch up" in the center of the screen. Chosen has already engendered a lot of discussion here in the UK and Kevin Lygo, Director (Television and Content) for C4, has described it as "the stand-out documentary of the year." I have met the director of the film and two of the three guys whose stories make up the film, and it has been great to work with men who are as committed to making as difference as these guys are. Rob comments that the trailer is tough to watch, and yes, take care of yourselves if you think you would like to see this documentary. There is a lot of heartfelt discussion of very triggery issues, and the format is interviews with the three survivors interspersed with photographs of them as boys and of the men who hurt them. If you are in a rough place it would be a good idea to watch this with someone you know and trust, and if it gets to be too much just walk away. There will be other opportunities to see things like this and your safety is of first importance. If you are in therapy it would be a good idea to discuss this with your T before deciding to watch it. Much love, Larry

Hi Larry:
I don't see Chosen on the drop down list or the A-Zed list as being available from a Canadian ip address. Can you see it listed?
Cheers from the colonies.
Jim

Jim, Joel,
I don't see it listed anywhere on the site yet either, and I am checking from within the UK. Tom Perry is keeping me posted and I will pass on any details I receive. But it may prove that, as Steve cautions, Channel 4 will block non-UK viewers the same way the BBC does. That would be annoying but of course there's nothing we can do about it if this is what they decide to do.
Much love, Larry
