On another perspective I want to say that finding away to release your emotions about what ever is on your mind. either by writting it, support groups, exercise, eating healthy, breathing, education, improving the quality of life in general. I think truly the emotional intelligence we all carry is the door to our opportunity or another words learning how to deal with stress in life either good or bad.
Well said. And as you have probably figured out, many people are scared of their emotions so they either bury them, or lash out at others instead of trying to understand what they feel, why they feel it, and to find a constructive release of that emotional energy.
What we can do is be an example to others of how emotional intelligence can work and share these strategies with others.
