They buy live rattlesnakes by the pound, price varying from 3.50 pd up to 8.50 pd as the highest. They give prizes for heaviest, most rattles, longest etc. It sux now tho, you have to have a huntin liscense. Snake huntin is pretty fun. Some places even buy tarantulas.

We would go down there and swim in the summers and occasionally in the winter too. Lots of copperheads and water moccians but rarely would you actually see one. They sense you coming and dissapear.
