Does anybody know how to make a url link that is linked to a picture?

Like, if you click on the picture it goes to the link that corresponds with it?

Thanks!

nyjah, if you want to do it here is what you do.

first, select your image by using the graphic that you want. i needs to be somewhere on the web, like so:

then in order to make it a clickable link, surround it in these tags: using the address that you want to link it to.

then after that put the image code in there (just like above) and close it all with this:

the whole equation looks like this (without the links ):

i hope this is not too complicated,

ron

Now, I think that this technique will give the user a link to click on.

How can you import the graphic into the page being written?

Is this where the mozilla capability comes in?

this should work with any browser actually.

however, the way m/s is set up, your image link has to be one that is housed remotely. they don't have a storage space for personal images like bloggers sometimes do.

there are places like picasa where you can store images and then link an image from there to here, inserting them that way.

in my case, i just put images in a separate file on my server and link to them from my messages here.

Hah.

After all of that I don't think we're allowed to put images in our signatures.

Oi.

Actually as much as some of us would like it to be otherwise, the ubb software that powers the site is not currently set up to accommodate graphics below the line in the signature area.

Doug's graphic is above the line which means he must enter it manually every time it is used.
