Corey Haim and Corey Fieldman of 80's movie "License to Drive" fame admit that they were molested as teens on their TV Show "The Two Coreys" on A&E.

G&Q Interview with Corey Feldman
http://men.style.com/gq/blogs/gqeditors
(Scroll down to Monday June 23rd)

Season two is different-less Odd Couple, more raw confrontation. I mean, the first episode has you two revealing you'd both been molested as teens. Why talk now?
That was one of those things that we'd discussed not bringing up. And then Haim brought it up anyway. You know how there's one thing that your friendís got against you that he could use as blackmail at any time? That was the one thing.

To be fair, you brought up Haim's suicide attempt first, right? Well, that was a bit of clever editing. The conversation lasted probably two hours. You have to encapsulate it in a twenty-two-minute episode.

It's harrowing stuff. Can you grasp how the molestation affected your life?

Well, I certainly think it affected Haim's. I think it's stunted him. That's the root of why he hasn't had a solid relationship. I went through my own similar problems, and fortunately, I was able to [compartmentalize] it in my brain. Let's not forget that I went through an intensive ten-month rehabilitation process [to get over a heroin addiction]. The only way I could overcome that addiction was to deal with my deep-rooted problems. I wanted to put it out there and give it back to God and all that healthy stuff you're supposed to do.

You were friends, famously, with Michael Jackson. Are you worried that people will assume he did this to you?

People can say whatever they want, but it wasn't Michael. He and I have our own issues, but that wasn't one of them. The bottom line is, I know who it was. I didn't know how to cut him off. Not only did I continue being friends with the guy, but he was working for me.

Working for you?
The guy that did this to me was my assistant. He would come in when I was sleeping. I would wake up and I would know what was going on, but I would just try to ignore it and hope that he would go away, which is how kids who aren't ready to deal with something deal with it. I was still a virgin at the time. I hadn't even had sex with a girl. So for me it was just kind of bewildering. Despite what people think, I was actually very innocent and very naive at the time. I was your typical American kid.

Have you ever confronted him?
No. I haven't seen him since 1986.

The episode airs on A&E
6/25 10:30pm (Eastern)
6/26 2:30am (Eastern)
6/29 6:30pm (Eastern)

Since seeing this post I have been keeping up to date on the shows and they have me completely glued.

You can really see the dynamic in Haim's behavior. His attempts to cope with his confusing and painful emotions, and his terrificly powerful attachment to Feldman. It seems like he is completely lost in a sort of "what happened to me" as well as "what keeps happening to me" victim state.

It wrenches my heart to see Haim's pain show so clearly through his behavior (at least to me).

It is also clear that Susie Feldman has no clue but she busies herself blanketing her opinion all over his behavior all the time. It's not her fault she doesn't understand but it would do Haim a world of good if she would keep her opinion to herself.

Poor guy, it's almost too much to watch.

An entertainment industry insider once told me that CSA was/is rampant. He said, in a rather straight-forward manner that if you saw a cute kid in Hollywood being run-up the fame/fortune ladder, there was a very real chance that they were being abused by individuals with power and influence.

Given the evidence we see with these kids reaching adulthood with drug and alcohol addictions, I'd say he's right.

Child Stars Gone Wrong (from listafterlist.com)
INFORMATIVE

Tags: Lindsay, Lohan, Child, Stars, Drew, Barrymore, Corey, Feldman

Lindsay Lohan unfortunately just entered a new club, and one she may not want to be a part of. With her recent arrest, Lohan joins the long list of Hollywood child stars and their ongoing problems. Here is a a list of child stars that have faced problems sometimes more severe than Lohan faces now.

River Phoenix- one of the most promising young actors to come along in Hollywood since Marlon Brando died of a drug overdose at the age 23 in a Hollywood nightclub.

Drew Barrymore- Barrymore has rebounded over the years to the point where she is now a credible actress and producer, but at the age of 13 she entered rehab for drug and alcohol problems.

Corey Feldman- Part of the legendary "two corey's" duo of the 80's. The former Goonies star had to go to rehab for drug problems at the age of 19.

Danny Bonaduce- Before he was "breaking" it, the former Partridge Family star dealt with drug and alcohol abuse that had haunted him for years. He also had an unfortunate run-in with a transvestite prostitute in 1991.

Macaulay Culkin- Close friend of Michael Jackson and Home Alone legend Culkin had a brush with the law in 2004 when he was arrested for possession of marijuana and the pre>

Actor Haley Joel Osment was charged with drunk driving and marijuana possession after he crashed his 1996 Saturn station wagon while returning home from a Los Angeles concert in July 2006. The 18-year-old Osment, who starred as the boy who saw dead people in "The Sixth Sense," suffered minor injuries in the accident and was briefly hospitalized. Osment, who posed for a mug shot snapped by an L.A. sheriff's deputy, was released from custody after posting a $15,000 bond.

I always thought the show A.I. was a little creepy.

On my copy of the DVD Stand by Me, there is a clip of some of the actors from the movie appearing on an MTV version of the song with the same name. I don't remember for sure if Feldman or Jerry O'Connell were in that clip, but I know that Phoenix and Will Wheaton both were. When I saw it for the first time, which would have been within the last year, it almost brought tears to my eyes to see young Phoenix so happy and to know that he was probably full of so much pain.

Watching that movie fills me full of emotion. Knowing the pain that at least two of those actors were going through in their day to day lives makes the pain that they portray on the screen that much more real. They were outstanding performances all around.

I have followed the troubles of Brian Bonsall. I think he was a great child actor. Now he is apparently destabilized. He failed to appear for a recent court date in Boulder Colorado and is now a fugitive.

http://www.dailycamera.com/news/2008/jul/24/family-ties-brian-bonsall-fugitive/

I purchased the dvd of "Father and Scout" and watched it many times as a therapy for my depersonalization disorder. I was severely abused in a scout camp and acquired the depersonalization disorder. Brian was about 12 in the movie, the same age as I was in my trauma. Since I looked something like Brian, It allowed me to revisualize who I was.

Someone reviewed the movie "Father and Scout" for Amazon dot com. I presume it was Bonsall writing under an assumed name. The reviewer identifies himself as MPLS (in the movie Brian was Michael Paley _ Sagat) and says BOB SAGAT IS THE ANTICHRIST "BOB SAGET WANTS TO EAT YOUR CHILDREN - DO NOT SEE HIS MOVIES.

That review has since been withdrawn. I have a copy of it.

Brian made the movie "Mikey" which was so depressing to me I could never watch it. The movie "Blank Check" I think is a fun movie.

If Brian Bonsall should ever read this, please accept my thanks for helping me with my depersonalization disorder.

Puffer

Boy...Bob Sagat just won't go away...

But on a lighter note, Brian Bonsall was better known as Andy on the final seasons of Family Ties...after the show jumped the shark.

We have had previous discussions of Hollywood stuff and their treatment of children and child actors. A previous registrant here on MS actually participated in a ring involved in perping children in the Los Angeles area. (He no longer comes to MS) I was the subject of kiddie porn production near Los Angeles when I was 4-years-old. That was done by employees of the film entertainment industry in Los Angeles. I don't feel at liberty to give the name of the studio and people. It was terribly damaging to me. Among other things, it set up DID in my life.

I have posted several short reviews of movies and their benefits and disadvantages.

http://www.malesurvivor.org/board/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=294141#Post294141

http://www.malesurvivor.org/board/ubbthr...true#Post291301

I have used movies to further my own healing. Movies which allow me to project my hurting boyhood self into the child actor in the movie are the most healing. They allow me to move the "hurting kid I once was" out of my subconscious into the realm of 2009 and the present day. I particularly used 3-D movies to help with my eye condition of strabismus and the associated dissociation. The movie Spy Kids 3-D was the best one for this purpose.

Recently I was watching a rented dvd of The Departed with Jack Nicholson playing the villain Frank Costello in the scene about Boston's corrupt gangland. I was very much angered by a statement made by Nicholson: "It comes up faster than a 12-year-old's dick." The question is: How would he know?

I didn't finish watching that move. I re-packaged it and returned it to the rental company.

pufferfish,
Firstly he knows because he has one, and was 12 at some point. Most men remember this initially embarrassing and emotionally trying problem of puberty as funny when they are fully adult. Lots of comedy is done about this issue which all men who went through puberty go through.
All boys in puberty get erections all the time for no specific reason. You may remember this.
The other thing to acknowledge here is that he is speaking dialogue written by someone else. So you've failed to separate him from the character he is portraying.
I know how hard it can be to do this but I'm saying it anyway, try not to take everything to heart often our abuse can distort present interactions w/o us even noticing.

I saw a report on ABC's 20/20 about child prostitution in Los Angeles / Hollywood. That was several years ago. They interviewed several boy prostitutes who said that they had "entertained" Hollywood film stars for money.

We know that there is a kiddie porn and prostitution industry in Hollywood area. A former registrant made claims to having been a part of that industry, and that they also inducted new kids into their "business". The posts in which these claims are made are still online here.

The posts I cited in my post above talk about NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association) in Hollywood and it's prominence there.

The post I cited talks about a conversation of the Coreys where they talk about being sexually abused.

I was personally involved (as a victim) at age 4 in kiddie porn in the Los Angeles area. It really messed me up. I do know who did it. He was using equipment from a studio.

When a public figure such as Jack Nicholson makes a statement in a film concerning a child having an erection it becomes a matter of public record. It is not a joke. The>
