there really is no point in life
when all interest is gone
no desire for waking - no need to sleep
no reason to carry on

the warm sun and cool breeze
all of nature just empty noise
people, places, all other things
have all gone void of joys

i see no purpose in examining
what things are right or wrong
i just can't find a point to try
when all interest is gone

Hmmm Mark, motivation has been my killer. How to be motivated with what I'm living in. If it boil's down to it, then I guess if I'm getting any kind of motivation it's from the guys I'm in group with. The younger guys, hard to look at them and not be motivated to try and help. Feel like they might get through this. Maybe I can help them with my perspective.

A thought maybe? If I can't find it for myself, then maybe they can take something away from my perspective.

Kinda save the world thing \:\)

Shit Mark, maybe a little "high and mighty" but they do seem to brighten up a little when I do talk, kinda nice to feel like I'm worth something.

Again, I may "FEEL" like I can't do it for me, but really they get, what I feel, is a whole lot out of what I'm saying.

Might just be a reason for me to continue

Know any "New" guy's Mark

Stay strong
Mike

i dont, Mike.
and if i did i'm fairly certain i have nothing to say that would be of any value or benefit. how can a failure help someone else? it just doesn't make sense.

i do get what you're saying - and it's kewl that you are benefiting from your group and helping others. i'm glad you have something to look towards. almost even like a goal?

anyhoo - thanx for the response.

Mark,

Your poem sounds like something I would have written when I was being crushed by depression. Nothing engaged me, each day was just more passing time and I could hardly motivate myself to get up and emerge from the house. I know it's a rough feeling.

No Mr. Fix-It talk today. \:\) Just I hear you.

Much love,
Larry
