OK, this is sufficiently random enough that i must reply. I like broccoli (and Brussels sprouts) too; but i'm not a huge fan of it when overcooked; food yet to be eaten shouldn't smell like what it's going to make your farts smell like tomorrow...
What else about broccoli? Let's see; When it's raw, it makes my tongue/throat kinda burn a little, like radishes- same with cauliflower. Speaking of cauliflower, "Romanesco" broccoli is a hybrid of broccoli and cauliflower (and is often pointed to as a good example of fractal self-similarity).
And, of course, i would've mentioned "Chopping Broccoli" if ineffable hadn't already beaten me to it
