I bought my dad a hand made Chess set when I was in Russia way way way back in 94. He let me have it when I moved from home. Probably in hopes that I'd teach my son how to play.

Dang I gotta play more games with my son.

That's a good idea Scott, you should put the time aside and play chess with your son, really, make a mental note.

I just played chess with my dad, he was winning at first, but then i won in the end, he had to give up, there was nothing he could do to win and he had to go to bed anyway because he has to go to work early, he didn't let me win or anything, he never lets anyone win, i lost for years and years to him, i remember the first time i won against him it was amazing, i understand why he never just used to let me win now.

There is no strategy in chess, it's all a matter of luck. :p
