i wasn't sure where to post this.....but i would like to start a positive thoughts thread......just throw in random positive thoughts, not just about the anything in particular, but about anything. life, food, i don't care, just a bunch of good things. lets see how much we can fill up. and don't be afraid to double do it. if someone else said what you wanted, say it anyway. i will start by saying that i have a good girlfriend aka future wife.

Great idea. I have many things to be thankful for, and when I get down it helps me to recall them. Right now I am especially grateful for my kids, both of whom are thriving in college and preparing for their own independent adult lives. My daughter has just returned home from college for a few weeks before she takes off to spend the summer with her boyfriend, and it's great to have her here.

i would like to bring up the positive thought of the taste of pizza!!!!!! that just brings a smile to my face!

The thing that makes me most happy in life is when my nephews are sitting on me and my oldest nephew (almost 3) is just talking away about something or reciting a book he's memorized -- just staring off into space -- and I can't really understand him but I'm like "really??" and he's like "yeah" and continues.

That rules.

that's awesome. i must also bring up my 2 nephews. one is 3 and the other 9. one is go kart racing, and the 3 year old loves when his uncle Philip(that's me) takes him to the zoo! that gives me fulfillment!

This may sound really stupid, but my positive thought is crawling into bed each night with my bear, knowing we made it through another day. Im inner child and I get time to talk to each other about the day.

He is the one person in my life that I know LOVES me for who I am. Then we fall asleep together and hope and pray a nightmare doesn't wake us up b/4 morning and another new day.

lol.....i would like to add in music. music is such a big part of my life. i play the piano, organ, violin, clarinet and trumpet at my church. i am the organist, and i am in the orchestra one service a week. i have a fill in organist so that i can participate in the orchestra(i started it by the way....love it!!!!!).

i love that i was asked to take my friends 6 year old boy to the Father Son indians game this friday. my friends is in Iraq, so he can't be here to do things with his son, i have been honored with the request to do this for him!!!!!!!!!

i like my blackberry....i would be lost without it.....it is an absolute must for all!!!!!!

I am thankful for the wife God in His great wisdom gave to me. Our marriage lasted 37+ years until she died of ALS. I am sure I will see her in the place above. We have 2 wonderful children and 3 grand children with another on the way.

Even though I took a lot of abuse as a kiddo, I feel that God has provided well for my needs and relationships since then and that God has taken care of me. I was suicidal at age 15 and I cried out to God for help and He answered me.

I am grateful for kind people.

I often go to a chip shop near me, i go quite often, so i just walk in, they prepare my food and i pay them, i don't even have to say what i want, they already remember, because i always have the same thing.

I was walking home from work yesterday, not realising that their opening times changed, so that they were closed, but one of them saw me walk past and look in. They un-locked and re-opened the shop, and re-started all the stuff and made me my food! they had closed and were about to go home and they did this for me! and they gave me extra too, but they wouldn't accept a tip off me. They gave me their phone number, so that if i'm working until that time and still wanting food, i should phone them and they will make me my food and i can collect it off them even though they will be closed. You don't get many people who go out of their way for no reason like that,so that's what i'm grateful for.

My one year old daughter who always greets me with smile and calling me daddyeeeee. She always makes my day---Mike---

Who is eighteen months. Everyday when I come from work she has a smile and a hug for me. Such uncondition love makes everyday a good day.
