You are not alone during this time. Take it slow, and get your feet on the ground in the time you need to. Take good care too.
When I lost my mom, the best thing for me to know, even though I had to deal with it alone on a level, as we all do when we loose someone, is that people were also around if I needed them.
We are here. So reach out uf you need.

I am so sorry for your loss, I lost my mother to a stroke a little over 3 years ago, I know how hard it is for you. There is not a day goes by that I don't miss her.

I'm sorry to hear that you lost your mother. I lost my father about 5 years ago, and I still miss him. It does get better and you'll always have your memories.

Just coming back to this to ask how you're doing and let you know you're remembered and cared about. VN's comment to you reminds me of my reaction to my grandfather's death years ago. I thought I would never come to terms with that, and of course I am still sad at the loss. But I still have my memories, a ton of them, so in an important way he is still with me. I can enjoy those memories now, without feeling the pain. I am sure things will work out for you too.
