I feel so much spring- from A New Brain
And I am telling you I'm not going- from Dreamgirls
Martin Guerre- from Martin Guerre
I know where I've been- from Hairspray
I am the Starlight- from Starlight Express (london cast)
There's a fine, fine line- from Avenue Q
Defying Gravity- from Wicked.
Talk amongst yourself- from Taboo
I'm the bravest individual- from Sweet Charity.
Find your Grail- from Spamalot
Leavins not the only way to go- from Big River

Tommy is an all time favorite rock opera, so much in common with csa its hard to dismiss the similarities. For years I was deaf, dumb, & blind.

Black Bird by the Beatles

great song i think its really about the civil rights movement but i guess the civil rights movement is about surviving and overcoming our pasts just as much as the issues we deal with.

Wow! Good one tk! I never would have thought of that one, but "take these broken wings and learn to fly"..that's about as survival as it gets!

I remember a hippie when I was a kid who played that song in church. He made a point of saying who wrote it after he performed it because a lot of people in the congregation considered rock and roll to be devil music.

I liked that guy for playing that...he kind of disappointed me later by ODing in church, but I don't hold that against him any more. I love that song though.
