Have any of you guys tried mindfulness meditation. I have been practicing mindfulness, and it is so easy it's a challenge.
I started with the book " FULL CATASTROPHE LIVING" by Jon Kabat-Zinn. It really helps, and you start to feel better almost immediately. Some of it is hard work, but it will help you with difficult thought patterns almost immediately.
The book is only $20.00, and you can get the companion Cd's for $30.00.
I always thought meditation was bull shit, but this is different, and really helps.

I just finished "Calming Your Anxious Mind" - also a pretty good book on meditation, mindfulness, and being in the present and now.

Looks like a good book. I ordered it used, like new for $10.00 from B&N. Thanks for the suggestion.
